This invention relates to a cutting device for coated plates comprising frame means,
First stationary cover plate means on said frame means,
Second movable cover plate means on said frame means,
Heatable knife means adapted to be displaced along one edge of said first stationary cover plate means between said first and second cover plate means,
Carriage means below said cover plate means for supporting said knife means,
And means for displacing said carriage means and said knife means supported thereby.
