The cutting machine body comprises a non-rotary housing mounted on a slideway and a boom carrying rotary housing rotatably supported by annular support means arranged adjacent to a radially outer margin of the body, drive means being provided on the non-rotary housing for rotating the boom carrying rotary housing.
