ABSTRACT:
A current detectable transistor T.sub.r comprises a main transistor in which a main current flows and a sense transistor for detecting the current flowing in the main transistor. A sense resistance R.sub.S having a temperature coefficient .alpha..sub.S suitable for maintaining the constancy of a sense voltage V.sub.S regardless of a temperature change .DELTA.T is provided at the emitter of the sense transistor. Because the sense voltage V.sub.S can be measured between the two ends of a sense resistor R.sub.S with little temperature drift, the sense voltage V.sub.S obtained as a detection result remains constant regardless of the temperature change .DELTA.T, thereby enabling a current to be detected with high precision.
