ABSTRACT:
A current collecting assembly for a body, such as an electrodepositing drum, mounted to rotate about a shaft (16) includes a current collector removably connected to an end of the shaft (16), a current conductor (12) connected to a current supply conductor (19) and means (13,14) for pressing a contact portion (12a) of the current conductor means (12) against the current collector (11) with a predetermined pressure. The contact portion (12a) is carried by a hollow body (12b) through which water is passed to water cool the contact portion (12a).
