ABSTRACT:
A cured or uncured rubber composition comprising
1. a rubber component about 1 to 100% of which consists of a homopolymer or copolymer of an epihalohydrin,
2. a curing amount of a curing agent therefor consisting of a salt of an ethylenically unsaturated monocarboxylic acid with 1,8-diazabicyclo(5,4,0) undecene-7 and an organic peroxide, and
3. an acid acceptor.
