ABSTRACT:
Crystalline aromatic polyketones having a linear polymer structure comprising repeating units [I] of ##STR1## and repeating units [II] of ##STR2## the repeating units [I] and [II] are bonded alternately, and the polymer has an intrinsic viscosity of at least 0.4, has excellent properties, particularly heat resistance, and can be used as shaped articles, coatings, films, fibers, etc.
