ABSTRACT:
Creatinine pyrrolidone carboxylate which has the formula ##STR1## is prepared by heating at an elevated temperature creatinine base and pyrrolidone carboxylic acid in an aqueous solvent and concentrating the resulting reaction medium to dryness. This compound can be employed in a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient to treat asthenia of any origin, psychasthenia, neurosis and memory disorders.
