ABSTRACT:
The invention is intended for crank presses. The drive according to the invention, comprises a first flywheel installed on a crankshaft connected to a slide block and a second flywheel connected to the crankshaft by means of a clutch. The first flywheel is rotated by means of a motor. Gyratory mass of the flywheel is selected to be such that kinetic energy of the flywheel accumulated by it in the course of its acceleration would be fully spent by it in carrying out the technological operation and in returning the slide block to the initial position. The driving motor may be represented by one or several synchronously operating hydraulic motors or electric motors disposed over a circumference concentric with the flywheel and connected to the latter by means of gear trains of similar gear ratio.
