A counterfeiting prevention label1has a label base3including a base sheet31, and a volume hologram2including a volume hologram layer22and formed on the base sheet31. The volume hologram2is extended between the upper side31aand the lower side31bof the label base3. The opposite end surfaces of the volume hologram2are flush with the end surfaces of the label base3, respectively. The volume hologram2may be placed in a depression3aformed in the front surface of the label base3. The volume hologram2and the label base3are blanked out after transferring the volume hologram2from a transfer sheet10to the label base3.
