ABSTRACT:
A counted-mounted apparatus for dispensing viscous liquid, such as hand soap, includes an improved reservoir assembly. The reservoir assembly includes a container housing in which a predetermined quantity of the viscous liquid is contained. Bayonet tabs or other suitable means may be provided on the housing to effect direct attachment to a canister top of the dispenser. At least one actuator opening is defined in a top portion of the container housing for receipt of the dispenser's actuator rod. A free distal end of the rod pushes against an engaging element located within the housing. When the engaging element is reciprocatively moved by the actuator rod, a pump device located in the housing functions to push the viscous liquid into a flexible delivery tube. The pump device is preferably a common lotion pump which has been suitably modified.
