ABSTRACT:
The cosmetic use is described, in particular for use as a UV filter, of benzotriazole diorganopolysiloxanes having either formula: ##STR1## where R is C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 alkyl, phenyl or 3,3,3-trifluoropropyl, B is R or A, r=0-200, s=0-50, or formulas: ##STR2## where u=1-20, t=0-20 and t+u.gtoreq.3.
