ABSTRACT:
A cosmetic composition for protection against ultraviolet radiation and its use for this purpose.
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing, as an agent for protecting against the UV rays at least one compound of the formula ##STR1## where Ar denotes an m- or p-phenylene or biphenylene radical capable of being substituted by one or more halogen atoms, one or more C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 lower alkyl or lower alkoxy groups,
