ABSTRACT:
A copying machine of the invention has an automatic document feeder for automatically feeding a document onto a document table of a copying machine main body. The copying machine of the invention also has a single motor for driving a drive mechanism for the copying machine main body and a drive mechanism for the automatic document feeder. A timing disk is coupled to the motor for supplying a timing signal necessary for copying operation. Based on the timing signal, a CPU controls the operation of the copying machine main body and the automatic document feeder.
