ABSTRACT:
A copying apparatus comprising a first information displaying means disposed on each copied paper discharge bin of a sorter, a second information displaying means disposed on each document discharge bin of an automatic document feeder, and a controlling means, so that the same information such as a number is displayed on a bin into which documents have been discharged and a bin into which copied papers have been discharged after copying has been completed, and in case where either of the documents or the copied papers are removed, an information such as a number on the bins wherein the other are left blinks to raise an alarm, and furthermore, in case where the copied papers are discharged into a plurality of bins and the copied papers are removed from part of the bins, an information such as a number on the bins wherein the other copied papers are left blinks to raise an alarm, and still further, the identification information registered for each documents in advance is displayed on the bin into which the documents have been discharged and the bins into which the copied papers have been discharged.
