ABSTRACT:
A copper base alloy, which is resistant or immune to carburization, metal dusting and coking, and resistant to oxidation, the alloy having the following composition (all contents in weight %):Al >0–15Si 0–6Mg 0–6one or more of the group of Rare Earth Metal (REM), yttrium, hafnium, zirconium, lanthanum, cerium) up to 0.3 wt. % each;Cu balance; andnormally occurring alloying additions and impurities. Related articles of manufacture and methods are also described.
