ABSTRACT:
A process for preparing polyurethane comprising copolymerization of a mixture comprising a bicyclic amide acetal and a blocked polyisocyanate at a temperature in the range of from about room temperature to about 200.degree. C. is described. The polymerization mixture may also contain polyamines, polyols, and polyepoxides and the polymers resulting from this process are useful as coatings, adhesives, and in elastomer synthesis.
