ABSTRACT:
Disclosed herein are compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein M is a cation selected from the group consisting of alkali metal, ammonium, amino, and hydrogen; and wherein x and y are independently selected from 0 to 2.
These compounds are disclosed as being useful as graftable and/or copolymerizable surfactants in latex preparation.
