A composition for erosion control, dust abatement, and/or water clarification comprising an anionic polyacrylamide, and at least one inorganic salt, wherein the combination of the anionic polyacrylamide and at least one inorganic salt form a molecule with a chain larger than 5×10−3μm (50 angstroms).
