Polyamides, prepared from cycloalkylalkylenediamines such as 5-cyclohexyl-5-methyl-1,9-nonanediamine and dicarboxylic acids such as adipic or azelaic acid, plus a tricarboxylic acid for branching such as benzene tricarboxylic acid, are tough, clear resins useful for molding and fibers.
