ABSTRACT:
A copier is disclosed as having a sorter positioned on top of the copier housing for easy access to an operator. The path of movement of processed copy sheets is repeatedly folded in order to present to the operator collated copy sets or stacks for easy observation of sorting and removal. The sheets exit the copier processing station in a horizontal plane, are turned 90.degree. while still in the plane, are transported upwardly in a vertical plane, and deposited in sorter trays toward the operator.
