ABSTRACT:
The electronic system (20) of the probe head of a coordinate measuring machine permits the digital setting of parameters which determine the nature and manner of signal processing, such as trigger levels, the characteristic of frequency filters, and time intervals between several coherent probe signal pulses. Different parameter combinations are stored together in data files which can be called up in accordance with the selected measurement task or in accordance with the probe configuration which has been installed in probe head.
