ABSTRACT:
It has been found that a conveyor system can be lubricated with dilute [1.0.times.10.sup.-3 M] aqueous solutions of a partially neutralized mono phosphate ester of the formula: ##STR1## wherein n has a value 0 to 3 and R is a C.sub.12 to C.sub.20 saturated or partially unsaturated linear alkyl group, or a mixture of such groups. The use of a synergist such as a long-chain alcohol, a fatty-acid derived amine oxide, or urea improves the properties of the lubricant compositions.
