The present invention provides a power-saving tread mill. A power-saving tread mill includes: a pair of rollers10, 20; and an endless belt30wound around the pair of rollers10, 20, wherein at least one of the rollers10, 20has: an armature24ahaving iron cores24cand coils24cwound around the iron cores24c; and permanent magnets23rotatable with the one of the rollers10, 20integrally, and electromagnetic induction produced between the permanent magnets23and the armature24aproduces induced electric current flowing through the coils24cwhen the one of the rollers10, 20is rotated.
