ABSTRACT:
Scrapers of particular mechanical, chemical, and electrical properties are arranged to maintain mechanical and electrical contact with the surfaces of moving belt conveyers so as to provide for rapid electrical discharge of such surfaces and the particles on such surfaces and the mechanical removal of such particles from such surfaces during the brief time that such surfaces are in the intended zone of discharge of particulate material therefrom.
