ABSTRACT:
A conversion kit is employed to convert a paper roll fed, positive liquid toner, coated paper photocopying machine into a negative liquid toner bond paper photocopying machine. Most basic elements of the kit are mounted on a frame which is adapted to be received by the chassis of the pre-existing positive liquid toner photocopying machine. The basic elements of the kit include an image projection system, a selenium drum, a drum drive mechanism, a liquid toner delivery system, a charge, discharge corona bar and a transfer corona bar. Other elements of the kit and further features of the invention are fully described in the specification. The purpose of the invention is to combine the economies of existing roll fed photocopying machines with the reliability of modern liquid toner plane paper copying systems.
