ABSTRACT:
The present invention concerns a convective system for a dryer installation for a passing web, more particularly paper. The convective system7is an assembly of an exterior casing13for suction of combustion products with opening14towards the web, with a first15and second16suction ducts sucking the combustion products into the convective system7. The combustion products coming from the first suction duct15are guided through the exterior casing13to a mixing and blowing device17. Cold air18is mixed in this mixing and blowing device17with the combustion products19, resulting in a gas mixture with lower temperature20. The convective system7also has an internal casing21inside the external casing13. This internal casing21has at least one opening towards the web22and has also openings34allowing gas flow from the mixing device17to the internal casing21of said gas mixture20. Under the internal casing21, there is also a blowing duct23. The second suction duct16is also arranged under this internal casing21thereby extracting a second flow of combustion products24into the internal casing21. This second flow24of combustion products is then mixed with the gas mixture20coming from the mixing device17, resulting in a mixture of gasses25with a temperature that is higher than the first gas mixture20and higher than e.g. 350° C. or 370° C., more preferably 390° C. or 410° C., even more preferably 420° C., 450° C. or 500° C. These hot gasses25are then blown to the drying web by the blowing duct23of the internal casing21.
