ABSTRACT:
A precipitation strengthenable, nickel-cobalt-iron base alloy and articles made therefrom are disclosed. The alloy contains controlled amounts of silicon, nickel, cobalt, iron, chromium, niobium, titanium, and aluminum which are critically balanced to provide a unique combination of high strength, good ductility, and controlled thermal expansion, together with good thermal stability and good oxidation resistance up to about 1200.degree. F. or higher.
