ABSTRACT:
An apparatus for reconfiguring power comprises a four-bridge network. Each bridge is controlled by complementary switch pairs driven by three-state control signals. One state provides for system shut-down and the other states provide for bridge operation. Reconfiguration is achieved by retrieving one of a plurality of patterns of switch signals to produce a desired output. The switch patterns are changed to maintain a desired output for a varying input.
