The invention relates to a support frame positioning a laser beam level and comprises:a first support module1inclusive a reference element10that can be positioned against a planar surface and enganging elements11located in a longitudinal direction A1to cooperate with a second support module2displaceable relative to the first support module1,bracing means22on the second support module2to support a laser beam type level3and a motor25to power a drive shaft in either of two directions of rotation of at least one element translatable along the first support module1, anda remote control for said motor25.The support frame may be positioned in height on walss and allows automatically positioning the laser beam in the continuous and progressive manner FIG.1.
