ABSTRACT:
An encoder13determines the remaining travel distance of a stacker crane to perform deceleration control. When a linear sensor8determines an absolute distance from the stop position, the linear sensor8performs deceleration control, and when a mark sensor26detects a mark36, the mark sensor26performs stop control. Likewise, deceleration control is performed based on the remaining elevation distance determined by an encoder19. When a linear sensor9determines an absolute distance from the stop position, the linear sensor9performs deceleration control, and when the mark sensor26detects the mark36, the mark sensor26performs stop control.
