ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a continuously lockable adjusting device1, consisting of a fluid-filled cylindrical housing2, of a piston4which is axially movable in the housing2and which subdivides the housing2into two pressure chambers5, 6and is connected to a piston rod3which, sealed off at one end, penetrates the housing2. A locking valve7has a closing member13and a manually actuable trigger tappet8together with a transmission disc16, a tilting movement of the trigger tappet8causing the closing member13to be capable of being acted upon axially movably by the transmission disc16and causing the locking valve7to be capable of opening so as to connect the pressure chambers5, 6to one another. The transmission disc16of the trigger tappet8is in bearing contact on the closing member13axially in a play-free manner, and the trigger tappet8is fixed axially in this position with respect to the closing member13.
