ABSTRACT:
A silo is provided with a thickened section along one portion of its circumference and located therein is a passage extending from top to bottom of the silo. This passage opens into the silo by means of an unobstructed opening which also runs from top to bottom of the silo. This opening may be covered by a series of doors which may be automatically opened and closed in conjunction with the silo unloading operation.
