ABSTRACT:
A company container a sidewall portion of generally circular cross-sectional configuration extending from a closed end portion to an open end portion. The container is of molded expanded polystyrene having a density of from about 1.0 to about 15 lbs./ft.sup.3, and a thickness of from about 35 to about 100 mils. A reinforcing band encircling the sidewall portion and firmly adherent thereto comprises paper of from about 1 to about 2 mils thick, and having a basis weight of from about 9 to about 20 lbs./ream.
