ABSTRACT:
A portable container for the transport of frozen samples, for example biological samples. The container has two compartments, one to contain the sample and the other to contain a portable refrigerant such as dry ice. Readouts are included to check for when the dry ice needs replenishment, and also to check on whether the container has at any time risen to a dangerous temperature, e.g. -5.degree. C.
