ABSTRACT:
There is provided a basket style bottle carrier having a lengthwise central wall30, 31and receiving compartments for bottles12on each side of the central wall. A handle portion14, which is separate from the central wall30, 31, is connected to the remainder of the carrier device by interconnecting webs17extending from the side walls23of the compartments. The handle14is movable relative to the central wall30, 31between raised and lowered positions. In some arrangements the handle portion14has a downwardly extending portion21with hook formations22for engaging in notches38to retain the handle14in its lowered position.
