ABSTRACT:
A composition for cleaning lenses which includes a non-polar solvent in the form of cyclohexane and/or ethyl acetate with a trace amount of an organic solvent in the form of chloroform or ethyl acetate and a polar solvent in the form of an alcohol. The composition further includes thimerosal, a wetting agent, a surfactant, and a buffer. The composition is provided as a saline solution.
