ABSTRACT:
A handbar characterized by an elongated, generally polygonal shaped article including a neck portion in the region of one end, and a tapered length extending from the central region of the article toward the other end. The article preferably is ractangular. The corner edges along their length and a roughened thumb placement area on one surface near the tapered end provide tactile stimulation, while the overall shape of the articles provides visual stimulation in an attempt to increase balance, relaxation and safety during recreational and competitive running.
