ABSTRACT:
A connector with a lock mechanism, in which maximum stress generated at a hinge joint as a fulcrum portion of a lock arm is reduced. A lock arm3is provided on an outer wall of a plug housing10. A plug1comprises a lock mechanism11, in which the lock arm3is latched on a latch40provided on a receptacle2for maintaining a state of coupling to the receptacle2. The lock arm3comprises a hook3A projecting in a direction of insertion of the receptacle2, a point of pressure3B (a finger depressing portion) positioned on an opposite side to the hook3A, and a fulcrum portion3C. The fulcrum portion3C has a pair of torque rods4A,4B supporting the lock arm3at lateral ends so as to allow the hook3A to swing.
