One20of a pair of connector housings10, 20connectable with each other is provided with a slider40. The other connector housing10is provided with main follower pins17and auxiliary follower pins18located at different positions from the main follower pins17. The slider40is formed with main cam grooves44for guiding the main follower pins17until the connection of the two connector housings10, 20is completed and auxiliary cam grooves48engageable with the auxiliary follower pins18at a desired timing within a period from an intermediate stage of the connection of the two connector housings10, 20to a completing timing of the connection.
