ABSTRACT:
A connector1is comprised of a shield terminal2, a grounding plate3, and a connector housing4. The grounding plate3is formed in an L-shape having a terminal connecting plate portion6and an external connecting plate portion7. An outer conductor terminal press-fitting slit8is formed in the terminal connecting plate portion6, and a pair of retaining projections9are formed on the terminal connecting plate portion6. The outer conductor terminal press-fitting slit8has formed therein a terminal introducing portion11as a portion for introducing the cylindrical outer conductor terminal5of the shield terminal2, a terminal crimping portion12continuing from this terminal introducing portion11and adapted to crimp the cylindrical outer conductor terminal5in such a manner as to clamp it, and a slit-width enlargement action portion13continuing from the terminal crimping portion12.
