ABSTRACT:
A connector comprises, a housing having at least one open side surface, a plurality of contact end portions alternately arranged at a first position which is spaced away from the opening by a predetermined distance along a first surface perpendicular to the open side surface in the housing, and is close to a surface opposite the first said surface, and at a second position closer to the opening than the first position by a predetermined distance and shifted to the first side surface, and a slider having a structure which can be fitted in the housing to clamp a cable inserted forwards the first side surface in said housing for electrical connection with the contact end portion in the housing, the slider having an indentation at a distal end portion.
