ABSTRACT:
The connecting rod comprises two separate main pieces (34, 36) one of which includes a small-end part (38), a stem part (40) and a big-end fork part (42). The other piece is constituted by a cap (46). The big-end fork part (42) and the cap (46) are retained together by means of respective pairs of interfitting ends situated in correspondence with a diametral plane of the eye of the big-end. The interfitting ends of each pair have mutual coupling formations (48).
