ABSTRACT:
A unique connecting pin is provided for splicing or lacing up conveyor belt egments. The connecting pin has multiple core pieces of defined lengths, aligned within the interior of a casing element. The casing element is constructed from a relatively soft material, which can give during operations, and the core pieces are aligned in such a way, that they extend through more than two coupling eyelets.
