ABSTRACT:
A congestion control method in a mobile communication network includes the steps of recognizing by a base station control unit of the mobile communication network that the base station control unit or a base station or a cell under the same becomes in a congestion state (Yes in #11), determining a destination for a mobile terminal under a cell in the congestion state to get rid of the congestion state (#12), and sending a notice of information of the destination together with congestion information that is information of the congestion state, based on control performed by the base station control unit, to the base station control unit or the base station under the same in the congestion state or a mobile terminal that is located in the cell under the base station control unit, so that a user of the mobile terminal can recognize the congestion state (#13and #14).
