ABSTRACT:
Composition useful for molding into articles such as food containers, beverage bottles, cured structural plastics and the like comprising molding grade linear or unsaturaged polyester or polycarbonate having reacted therewith or copolymerized therein the residue of one or more benzodioxylmethine compounds having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is cyano, carboxy, alkenyloxycarbonyl or an unsubstituted or substituted alkoxycarbonyl, cycloalkoxycarbonyl or aryloxycarbonyl radical;
