ABSTRACT:
A description is given of compounds of the formula I, and mixtures thereof, ##STR1## (I), in which Y and Z independently of one another are a radical of the formula ##STR2## (III) R and R.sub.1 independently of one another are hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alkyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 cycloalkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl-substituted C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 cycloalkyl, phenyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl-substituted phenyl,
R.sub.2 is C.sub.2 -C.sub.20 alkylene, C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 cycloalkylene, a radical of the formula ##STR3## The compounds/mixtures are particularly suitable as metal deactivators for use in lubricants.
