ABSTRACT:
Provided is a compound having an oxetanyl group and represented by the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a methyl group or an ethyl group and R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a straight or branched chain alkyl group of 1-5 carbon atoms, an unsubstituted or substituted phenyl group, an unsubstituted or substituted phenoxymethyl group, an unsubstituted or substituted phenoxypropyl group or an unsubstituted or substituted phenyl group. A process for producing the compound and a curing composition comprising the compound and a cationic polymerization initiator are also provided.
