A drying composition according to the invention is composed of a solution of a surface-active agent in a mixture of a fluorinated hydrocarbon and of a polyfluorinated alcohol of formula:in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?Rf—(CH2)n—OH  (I)in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?in which n is equal to 1 or 2 and Rf represents a linear perfluoroalkyl radical containing from 2 to 8 carbon atoms.
