ABSTRACT:
A composition containing benzodifuranone compounds for coloring hydrophobic materials in red which comprises at least one compound selected from the group of benzodifuranone compounds represented by the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a methylene group, a hydroxide group or a straight chain or branched C.sub.2-6 alkylene group which may be substituted by a C.sub.1-4 alkoxy or C.sub.1-4 alkylcarbonyloxy group, Q represents a 5- or 6-membered saturated or unsaturated heterocyclic ring residue which may be substituted; and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of benzeneazo compounds and/or benzothiazolazo compounds.
