ABSTRACT:
A composition for in vivo inhibition of aromatase in a mammal, which comprises an in vivo inhibitory amount of a compound having the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen or C.sub.1-4 acyl, in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or diluent thereof.
